Commonwealth Recordings is a Boston, US-based record label that was founded in August 2006. Our mission
is to provide DJ and party friendly electronic dance music. We are distributed by Beatport and Ingrooves
and our music is available on almost every online digital music shop.
Commonwealth's sister label Chelsea Recordings is an outlet for independent bands in the Boston area.
It is the home of The Luxembourg Brothers, who's song The Usual Suspects was featured in the 2006 Southern
Comfort 'SoCo and Lime' international TV advertising campaign.
People
Commonwealth Recordings was founded by Chris Micali and Ali Ajami. Chris currently maintains the
label's day to day operations.
